Autumn McLaughlin is a Vice President at Northwind Strategies. She is responsible for working directly with the client to develop strategic communications and public affairs campaigns that fit the client’s vision and needs. She has a growing collection of media contacts and extensive relationships on Beacon Hill with staff members and legislators. Autumn’s specialty is the intersection of government and media and she regularly pitches and places news stories that advance her client’s legislative goals.
Autumn has climbed the ranks at Northwind since joining the firm in 2013. She started as an account executive and was promoted multiple times, earning her the current title of Vice President.
Autumn brings public relations knowledge and political experience to her clients.
Prior to joining Northwind Strategies, Autumn was the finance director for State Senator Barry Finegold’s political committee, and previously, was Senator Finegold’s Director of Communication and Constituent Services inside his State House office.
Autumn got her start in politics by running then-Representative Finegold’s campaign for State Senate in 2010. That decisive victory earned her a spot on his Senate staff where her responsibilities included maintaining the Senator’s social media pages, crafting press materials, handling crisis communication and collaborating with state agencies on behalf of constituents.
Autumn graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA with a degree in Journalism and Political Science. She is originally from Duxbury, Massachusetts and lives in West Roxbury with her husband.
