Neil Morrison, the Managing Partner as well as a founder of Northwind Strategies, has enjoyed tremendous success devising solutions to complex problems in private business, government service and politics. His experience has given him an extensive breadth of knowledge while earning him a reputation as an analytical forward thinker.
Mr. Morrison is responsible for management and oversight of all aspects of internal operations at Northwind Strategies. In addition to setting the business goals and charting the direction for Northwind, his influence can be felt in all areas of the company, ranging from business development to client management to strategy creation.
As an experienced attorney, an accomplished investment banker and having over 10 years of experience in senior public sector positions at both the local and state levels, Mr. Morrison leads Northwind Strategies with a strategic management style focused on putting clients in a position to achieve their maximum potential success.
As First Deputy Treasurer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Mr. Morrison oversaw record increases in the Massachusetts State Pension Reserve Investment Management fund, reformed the Alcohol Beverages Control Commission and helped guide the Massachusetts State Lottery to three all-time high performance years.
Having worked on every facet of dozens of political campaigns at the local, state and federal levels, including his own successful election as the youngest City Councilor in the history of Taunton, Massachusetts at age 23, Mr. Morrison offers clients an experienced and insightful perspective on all policy and legislative matters.
Mr. Morrison is a graduate of Boston College (B.A. in Political Science & Philosophy) as well as Suffolk University Law School (J.D.) and is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar.
Neil Morrison lives in his hometown of Taunton with his wife Paula and their three children, son Cole and daughters Avery and Gianna.
