Kate Lagreca is the Senior Account Executive at Northwind Strategies, where she helps conceptualize, manages, and executes client communications strategies. She writes and places public relations materials, coordinates event logistics, develops community relations plans, and creates and implements digital media strategy.
Prior to joining the Northwind team in 2014, Kate served as an assistant to the Massachusetts Press Secretary for United States Senator John Kerry, and later worked in the Press Office of Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick.
She also worked for the United States Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C., assisting with communications and environmental policy in the Office of Surface Mining, and supporting AmeriCorps VISTA members in rural communities.
Most recently, Kate was a member of Boston Women’s March for America’s organizing committee, and led all local and national press efforts for the event which drew 175,000 participants to the Boston Common.
A native of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Kate is a graduate of Emerson College with a degree in Political Communication, and lives in Boston.
